“ Friday night special did not disappoint!! Rolls were regular size and filling. Fresh seafood. They had a small wait for the food to come out after we placed the order and the owner upgraded our plate to the full size order instead of just a tostada. Try this local spot if you are in the burbs. No wait to be seated most of the time. ”

“ The food and service were outstanding. The family and I stopped in after craving seafood and this place is a great addition to the area. Portion sizes are a good value for the money. We enjoyed the seafood tower, aguachiles toreado, fish tacos and a sushi and shrimp dish that isn't currently on the menu and everything was a 6/5. We also got the lime margarita and Paloma which were good but I'd go margarita over Paloma. If you enjoy Mexican and/or seafood this place is an easy recommendation. We'll definitely be back. ”

“ I drive past this restaurant all the time. My husband decided he wanted to try it for dinner. So we brought the family along. This place is amazing, very clean and upscale. Do you know how excited I was when I realized there is an upscale seafood restaurant in my neighborhood!? Now I don't have to drive all the way into downtown. We were brought a vegan ceviche, always a win for me. It was so good, that my husband loved it! The salsa that they bring you is so good and homemade. The ceviche is amazing! It consists of fresh chunks of fish, made to order. You are welcome to customize it, which we did since the kids were with us. We got the serrano peppers on the side. It was so good we asked for a second order. It must be said that the ceviche does not consist of old fish that is ground up, like we are used to from all the local seafood restaurants. We had the aguachiles verdes. The aguachile salsa had so much flavor, acidic yet spicy. The kids ordered the california rolls and let me tell you they are huge! I ordered the torta ahogada de camaron. I did ask before hand if it had any dairy because I am pescatarian. It did not. This torta was beautiful, if you don't believe me....look at the pics. All the plates came out looking beautiful, presentation is immaculate! The service was on par with the food. The owner treats you like family. Explains everything to you, that is in the food. Which I very much appreciated since, I have a lot of restrictions with food. They helped my husband with his use of chopsticks. The bathroom is very clean. Overall we wil definitely be going back often. I highly recommend this place, with my whole heart and belly. You won't be disappointed, it's a must try! ”

“ I recently visited this restaurant and wanted to share my experience. The atmosphere was clean and welcoming, and the service was exceptional. My boyfriend ordered the carnitas torta ahogada, which we rated a 6/10, while I tried the fried sushi and found it to be a 6/10 as well. We also ordered the calamari, which was enjoyable, and the ceviche, which was good and fresh. The salsas added a nice touch to the meal. Although the main dishes didn’t fully meet our expectations, the overall experience was pleasant. I recommend checking it out for yourself! ”

“ I found this amazing spot while visiting a friend in Melrose Park. The menu is fantastic for seafood lovers with a taste for some spice. The seafood soup had the perfect amount of spice as to not over power and it was packed with shrimp, calamari and other seafood. I really enjoyed the octopus tacos, I expected standard tortillas but was pleasantly surprised when they came out crispy from the grill. Now if you like some serious spice this place has it with some table hot sauce to take your dish up a level. Service was perfect and the owner greeted us and asked how our meal was. Prices were excellent fro fresh seafood. ”

“ Gem of a mariscos place My husband and I ordered takeout through DoorDash but decided to order some micheladas when we went inside. Everyone was super friendly since we walked in. When we sat down they gave us some cauliflower ceviche with a salsa macha on the side. It was SO good! Then we ordered one regular miche and one mango flavored. Again 10/10. The service was excellent. Super attentive and friendly. Our initial takeout was the breaded sushi and shrimp ceviche. Both were delicious! I’m so happy we ordered from here. We will definitely be going back to try more things ”
